Service Areas
NYC Mobile Diesel Repair Co. dispatches mobile diesel technicians across New York City, Westchester County, Long Island and North Jersey. Here is exactly where we go, and the conditions that apply.
Mobile Diesel Repair Across NY & NJ
NYC Mobile Diesel Repair Co. is a mobile, service-area business. We do not operate a walk-in shop — technicians are dispatched to your truck, trailer, generator or equipment wherever it is working, parked, staged or broken down. Dispatch is answered 24/7 on (929) 687-5503.
Primary Service Areas
These are the areas we cover routinely, with the shortest response times and the fullest range of on-site work. Each has a dedicated page describing local conditions and the kind of jobs we handle there.
New York City, Westchester and Long Island
Secondary Service Areas
We also dispatch, subject to technician availability and travel time, to the wider metropolitan region: the rest of Westchester County, Rockland County, Nassau and Suffolk counties, and the Hudson, Essex, Bergen, Union and Middlesex county corridors in New Jersey. Coverage in these areas is confirmed call by call rather than guaranteed — call dispatch with your location and we will tell you immediately whether we can reach you and roughly when.
Where On-Site Service Is Performed
- Fleet and truck yards
- Warehouses, terminals and distribution centres
- Construction and job sites
- Commercial properties and customer facilities
- Parking areas and staging locations
- Fixed equipment and generator installations
- Safe roadside breakdown locations
Service Limitations
Mobile repair is not the right answer to every failure, and we would rather say so before dispatching than after arriving. Work may not be possible on site where:
- The repair requires a lift, a press, machining or other fixed shop equipment.
- The vehicle is in a live traffic lane, on a bridge or tunnel approach, or anywhere a technician cannot work safely — these need a tow to a safe location first.
- Access is blocked, the ground is unsuitable, or there is no room to work around the unit.
- Weather, lighting or site rules make the job unsafe.
- The parts required are not available for same-visit fitting.
Where a job cannot be completed on site, we will tell you what is needed instead so you are not paying for a wasted call-out.
Travel and Dispatch Conditions
Dispatch Is 24/7
Response time depends on distance, traffic, weather and technician availability. We give you a realistic window on the call rather than a promise we cannot keep.
Call-Out Charge Quoted First
A service call and diagnostic charge applies and is quoted before a technician is dispatched. Travel to secondary areas may carry an additional charge, also quoted up front.
After-Hours and Holidays
After-hours, weekend and holiday calls may carry an emergency-response charge, quoted on the same call.
Forms Do Not Dispatch
Submitting the online form does not dispatch a technician. For anything urgent, call (929) 687-5503.
Not Sure If You Are In Range?
Call dispatch with the cross-streets or the yard address and we will confirm coverage immediately. If we cannot reach you in a workable time, we will say so rather than keep you waiting.
